Flex circuits are a challenge to test. This flex circuit test fixture has a nest that positions and supports the flex circuit. Then the fixture’s fine-pitch probes engage the flex-circuit’s delicate edge connector fingers. Proper selection of probe tips and probe forces are critical for reliable contact to the flex circuit without damaging it. The nest has cutouts to allow the operator’s fingers to easily grab the flex circuit and remove it from the fixture.
